Johnson Hill Farm is a small farm located North of Lincoln and West of Omaha outside of Ceresco Nebraska.  We provide meat, eggs, & vegetables the way our grandparents did, without harsh chemicals or hormones only now we run the farm as a CSA. Community Supported Agriculture farming is a cooperative relationship between the small farmer and his/her customers.

For a small farmer planting can be a big risk. To help reduce the risk, the CSA farmer contracts with customers to deliver a variety of produce throughout the growing season. In return, the customers pay for the produce in advance, easing the initial cash outlay. The consumer helps the small farmer survive and the farmer concentrates on providing more of what his/her customers want.

We appreciate your vote of confidence and will do everything within our power to fulfill our side of the bargain — a weekly basket full of fresh, beautiful, wholesome vegetables.

To minimize environmental risks, we plant as wide a variety of items as we can effectively grow. In the event we should lose a crop, we may not be able to give you the variety of produce we anticipated, but we can certainly fill your basket with a little more of everything else.

When you buy meat from us, you purchase a percentage of an animal -- you will determine the cutting instructions, pick up the product at the butcher of our choice and pay for the processing at that time.  Our beef is delivered in January, Pork in September and Chicken on the first of the month June through October. Butcher fees average $80 per quarter of beef, $90 per half of pork, $80 per lamb, and Chickens are picked up at the farm. Egg orders are filled during Vegetable order time span or purchased at Tomato Tomato in Omaha.
